About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Leonardtown, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital setting
- Perform procedures such as angioplasty, IVC filter placement and removal, fluoroscopy, and special procedures using Siemens equipment
- Chart using Cerner
- Work 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for 4x10-hour shifts
- Be on call Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, rotating among 4 technologists
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- At least one prior travel assignment
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- ACLS certification
- Maryland state license required if applicable
- ARRT (VI) certification preferred
- Proficiency in IR skills including angioplasty, IVC filter placement/removal, fluoroscopy, Siemens equipment operation, sterile technique, and scrubbing to maintain a sterile field
- Cerner charting experience
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
