About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Joplin, Missouri. The start date is August 24, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and angiography systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain medical records.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a related field preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized educational program in radiologic technology.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.
