Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,790 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Decatur, Georgia. This long-term contract position requires 2+ years of experience and ARRT licensure.

• Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab setting
• 4×10-hour AM shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) totaling 40 hours per week
• On-call rotation of 1 week per month
• Must be able to float to other Emory locations, including Hillandale, as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs and perform multiple diagnostic procedures in the appropriate sequence and time frame
• Responsible for proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment and staying current on medical device usage

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Experience with coronary CTA required
• Knowledge and experience with interventional procedures required
• Endovascular experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former Emory or Houston employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• RTO (request time off) requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days
• RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days, and only 1 holiday request is allowed
