About the role
PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare and monitor patients for procedures, including positioning and equipment setup.
- Operate imaging equipment and record images accurately.
- Document patient data and procedures in medical records.
- Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
