About the role

The role of an Interventional Radiology Technologist at ALOIS Healthcare involves assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. Procedures may include angioplasty and biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging guidance
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
• Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate images during procedures
• Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited program
• Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
