About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of interventional radiology procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized educational program in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Skills
- Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
