Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026, in Reston, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate images during procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and prepare reports for the physician.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Knowledge of imaging modalities and their applications in interventional radiology.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology.
• Current BLS certification.
