Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,344 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Torrington, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Operate the fluoroscopic equipment
• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Interpret examination requests accurately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) national certification
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 3 years of experience

Skills

• Knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

• Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 32 hours per week
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
