About the role
The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist to work at a facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as necessary.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of medical instruments and supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited program.
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in interventional radiology techniques.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
