About the role
The position involves working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Alexandria, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.
- Experience as a full-time Radiation Technologist within the last 2 years.
- Current State Licensure.
- Current relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc).
