Travel Interventional Radiology Technician - $3,133 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of recent acute care experience and includes responsibilities such as operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with procedures, and monitoring patients.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Absorb and assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain patient safety during procedures
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
• Document patient information accurately
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications
