Travel Interventional Radiology Technician - $2,903 per week
About the role
The position involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using specialized equipment. The role requires a proven track record of 2+ years as an Interventional Radiographer, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
- Maintain equipment performance to specifications.
- Aid in maintaining adequate levels of supplies for patient care.
- Capture relevant exam information during the exam.
- Assist radiologists in performing exams, ensuring clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Regular attendance and meeting local health regulations.
- Pass a post-offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing, reading, writing, verbal and written communication, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures.
Qualifications
Must meet local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment. Physical and sensory requirements must be met.
Skills
Knowledge of McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak is essential. Strong communication and patient safety skills are also crucial.
