Travel Interventional Radiology Tech - $2,566 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures unit in Corpus Christi, Texas. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment starting September 28 2026, with a 40‑hour work week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all vascular interventions and biopsy/drain procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Merge patient information into the EMR system.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 2‑bed Special Procedures unit.
• Provide on‑call coverage after hours and on weekends.
• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5 × 8‑hour days).
• No floating to other units required.

Requirements

• Active ARRT or RN license (as applicable).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Vascular experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to perform all vascular interventions and biopsy/drain procedures.
• Radius rule of 50 miles – local candidates will not be considered.

Additional Information

• High‑intensity, high‑energy environment requiring strong attention to detail and empathy.
• Dark green scrubs are required.

• Shift: Days, 5 × 8‑hour days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Length: 13 weeks.
• On‑call duties after hours and weekends.
