Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $3,015 per week
About the role
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a complex clinical environment with diverse radiological and procedural areas such as vascular, neuro, cardiology, and interventional radiology. The role requires performing procedure circulation, monitoring, and recovery procedures, with opportunities to assist in various radiology departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedure circulation, monitoring, and recovery
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures
- Provide recovery care, including conscious sedation
- Manage ventilators and pressors in procedure rooms
- Utilize Epic electronic medical records
- Operate equipment such as GE MACLab and Siemens X‑ray
Requirements
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience
- Experience managing ventilators and pressors in procedure rooms
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and equipment (GE MACLab, Siemens X‑ray)
- Willing to wait for license submission and verification
- Flexible availability for variable day shifts
- Ability to float as required (float rotation may be required)
- Preferred: prior experience in interventional radiology or hybrid OR settings
Schedule
36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts. Pre‑procedure and recovery shifts consist of four ten‑hour shifts (noon to 10:30 pm and 2 pm to 12:30 am) with on‑call duty once a week and every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
