Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in a healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing imaging procedures, moderate sedation, and related interventions within a clinical setting.
Job Details
- Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Location Requirements: Valid CA RN license in hand required.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, adult acute care, or diagnostic imaging preferred.
Additional Clinical Responsibilities
- Supporting imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology, including IV support, patient prep, moderate sedation, monitoring, and recovery.
- Ability to wear lead aprons and enter MRI environments as needed.
- The position involves floating to other UCSF facilities as required.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
