About the role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This position supports a growing Interventional Radiology program at a community hospital, providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care. The RN will work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and support staff to expand procedural capabilities and develop new service lines.
Responsibilities
- Support a growing Interventional Radiology department with procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, and embolizations
- Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
- Work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and support staff
- Participate in expanding procedural capabilities and developing new service lines
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Current RN License in Arizona (or compact state license)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum of 5 years of critical care experience
Qualifications
- Moderate/conscious sedation experience preferred
- Experience with vascular and oncology procedures preferred
- Patient recovery after sedation experience preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
- Prior hospital-based Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Management of PICC lines/ports preferred
- Assistance with advanced procedures preferred
Schedule
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Monday through Friday
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
