Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,705 per week

About the role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This position supports a growing Interventional Radiology program at a community hospital, providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care. The RN will work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and support staff to expand procedural capabilities and develop new service lines.

Responsibilities

• Support a growing Interventional Radiology department with procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, and embolizations
• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
• Work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and support staff
• Participate in expanding procedural capabilities and developing new service lines
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Current RN License in Arizona (or compact state license)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 5 years of critical care experience

Qualifications

• Moderate/conscious sedation experience preferred
• Experience with vascular and oncology procedures preferred
• Patient recovery after sedation experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
• Prior hospital-based Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Management of PICC lines/ports preferred
• Assistance with advanced procedures preferred

Schedule

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Monday through Friday
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
