About the role

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) position in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing specialized neuro interventional radiology care within an acute care setting at a Level I Trauma Center. The position offers day shifts with guaranteed hours and required call coverage in a dynamic hospital environment focused on neuro procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neuro interventional radiology nursing care
• Work on a 4-10 schedule (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) with call responsibilities between 10-14 days per month
• Adhere to facility SOPs and safety protocols
• Use EPIC patient charting system
• Follow fingernail policies prohibiting artificial nails in patient care areas

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical setting
• Current Driver’s license (used to assess distance from the facility)
• Ability to pass a pass/fail skills exam during orientation
• No artificial nails permitted in patient care areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro or Interventional Radiology experience
• Sedation experience for neuro procedures

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts, four days per week
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Call coverage: 10-14 days per month
