Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,546 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

About the Role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on August 31, 2026, with 10-hour day shifts and a total of 40 hours per week. The role involves working in a Level I trauma facility with both outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry units. Shifts are primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and potential holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-procedural care in Interventional Radiology, including pre-op, PACU, and recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia
• Maintain sterile field competency
• Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (SIMs Lab competency required)
• Work with outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry
• Charting in Cerner EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including IR techs, CT, nuclear medicine, US techs, hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, and pharmacy staff

Requirements

• Neuro IR experience (required)
• Level I trauma experience (required)
• Pre-op/PACU experience or ICU experience with IR experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification (required)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification (preferred)
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (two attempts allowed)
• Natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit test
• License to submit (BSN not required)

Work Environment

• 5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine available
• 24/7 access to hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy
• Orientation includes training on lifts, restraints, and wound care
• Acute care setting with Level I trauma designation

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
