Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,283 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Interventional Radiology for a 13‑week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The position starts on 11/16/2026, requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type. Candidates should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and be prepared to work in a diagnostic radiology setting alongside technologists and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs
• Access and assess infusaports
• Administer medications
• Monitor vital signs
• Suction patients
• Insert Foley catheters
• Assist patients with personal needs
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs
• Perform specialized nursing duties such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters
• Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Be aware of potential hazards from chemical and infectious disease exposure

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start
