About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Olney, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Operate equipment used during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (preferred).
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Proficient in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Shifts are 8 hours long, flexible.
