Travel Interventional Radiology - $2,989 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position requires 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift, starting 09/15/2026.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately interpret examination requests.
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional (VI) certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
