Travel Intermediate Care Unit RN - $2,260 per week

Job Description

Join a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit caring for cardiac and medical patients requiring close monitoring. This travel assignment is ideal for experienced Stepdown/IMU RNs comfortable with telemetry interpretation and titratable drips.

Assignment Details

• 13-week travel contract
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Self-scheduling available based on unit needs
• 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit
• Patient Population: Chest pain and rule-out MICHF and arrhythmias, Pre/post cardiac catheterization, Post pacemaker patients, Tikosyn therapy, Intermediate care medical patients, Occasional chest tubes

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Intermediate Care/Stepdown experience
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills
• Experience titrating: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetalol, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Lasix (occasionally)
