About the role

Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) in a healthcare facility setting. This 20-week travel assignment involves providing inpatient care across various units, including orthopedic, intensive care, general medicine, and oncology. The role includes managing a typical caseload of 7-10 patients per day.

Schedule

• 8-hour days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday rotations as needed (approximately one weekend per month)
• Late-night rotation: Wednesday to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Mandatory overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain adequate coverage
• No on-call duties required

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy care across multiple units (orthopedic, intensive care, general medicine, oncology)
• Manage a caseload of 7-10 patients per day

Requirements

• Active Connecticut physical therapy license
• At least 2 years of inpatient physical therapy experience
• Ability to work the specified schedule, including weekends, holidays, and late-night rotations
