Travel Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,135 per week

About the Role

The inpatient physical therapy position is located in West Jordan, Utah. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders requiring therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and activities of daily living training. The therapist will operate under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and participate in professional responsibilities including documentation, program development, and clinical skill enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with various physical conditions
• Utilize therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, patient education, adaptive equipment, strengthening, and therapeutic exercises
• Provide manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other specialized treatments
• Participate in program development and clinical skill enhancement
• Complete documentation and use electronic medical records (EMR)

Schedule

• Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• One weekend per month
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Potential overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Dry Needling Certification if performing dry needling
• One year of experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit (preferred)
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neuromuscular, orthopedic, or physically-related disorders
• Proficiency in modalities, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education
