Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - $3,370 per week

About the role

Travel Pharmacist position in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This 13‑week assignment starts ASAP with 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The role involves providing inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting, including compounding and dispensing medications, supervising technical staff, participating in performance improvement, advising medical staff on pharmaceutical and safety issues, monitoring drug therapy, and maintaining medication safety and equipment.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy (BOP) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• At least one year of recent hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications according to prescriptions
• Supervising technical support staff
• Participating in performance improvement plans
• Advising medical staff on pharmaceutical and safety issues
• Ensuring safe medication use and maintaining proper aseptic techniques
• Assisting with clinical, quality, and educational programs
• Monitoring patient drug therapy appropriateness and adjusting doses based on pharmacokinetics principles
• Keeping accurate records, ensuring security of controlled substances, and maintaining medication and pharmacy equipment

Schedule

8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, including weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
