Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - $2,999 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Berlin, New Hampshire. This position offers 40 hours per week with a shift of 9 hours during the day.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the provision of high-quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Manage multiple drug distribution functions, including computerized order entry, prospective review and verification of physicians’ orders, and IV admixture preparation.
• Engage in clinical and cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes, following Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify or change orders, and document intervention outcomes.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state of application or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.
