Travel Pharmacist Inpatient - $2,440 per week

About the role

The organization is seeking a Pharmacist Inpatient for a healthcare facility located in Richmond, VA. The Pharmacist will provide critical medication management services within a 463-bed hospital environment, supporting complex patient populations including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, and cardiac surgery. This role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure safe medication practices and adherence to hospital policies.

Requirements

• Virginia State Pharmacist license
• At least 2 years of hospital experience
• Skills in managing complex patients such as trauma, burn, or critical care
• Proficiency in Dose Edge IV Experience, Pyxis, Meditech Vigilanz
• Experience with Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycoside dosing, Renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOACs

Responsibilities

• Verify and compound IV medications
• Perform medication verification
• Utilize advanced protocols for medication management

Schedule

Evenings 2:30 PM – 7:00 AM; 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
