Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Assistant (Inpatient)

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitative care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including stroke (CVA), amputations, and orthopedic needs.
• Support patients in an inpatient rehabilitation program.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic systems.

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license/certification.
• One year of COTA experience.
• Experience with orthopedic and/or neuro rehabilitation preferred.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license/certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using standard rehab equipment, Ekso NR, and REAL VR.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days shift, 9 shift hours; minimum 36.0 hours per week.
