Travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,260 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract position in Seattle, Washington. The role involves providing evaluation and treatment for patients in an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, particularly for those undergoing surgery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapy and Social Services, for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Must possess current BLS certification.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Washington State License is necessary for practice.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred, with an emphasis on orthopedic and ICU exposure.
• Experience with Adaptive Equipment Assessment and patient safety protocols.
