About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide infusion care to patients under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report any adverse effects to supervising personnel.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in infusion care preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in administering infusions and medications.
- Knowledge of patient safety and infection control practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
