About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in step-down units
- Provide support to patients recovering from surgery or acute illness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in step-down nursing
- Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid driver's license
- Background check and drug screen required
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job
- Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS)
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid Driver's License
- Background and drug screen
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of step-down nursing practices

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
