Travel IMCU/Stepdown RN - $2,193 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing high-quality patient care, with a focus on heavy cardiac cases, including dysrhythmias, CVAs, and patients transitioning from the ICU. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for a patient ratio of 1:4-5 (1:6 if MedSurg acuity).
• Read and interpret telemetry strips with proficiency.
• Titrate various drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin.
• Assist with patient care in a stepdown setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to provide excellent patient care.
• Participate in scheduled shifts, including day and weekend rotations.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 3-12 hour day shifts per week, including every other weekend and a winter holiday. Typical shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in a stepdown or ICU setting preferred.
