Travel IMCU Registered Nurse - $2,475 per week

Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position in Iowa City, Iowa. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for adult patients with complex medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Work in a 47-bed medical-surgical cardiology unit providing comprehensive care for postoperative and complex cardiac patients, including those requiring telemetry, temporary pacing, and LVAD management
• Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork in a facility that emphasizes collaboration and has received national awards for excellence

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Must have large level 1 or large level 2 trauma experience
• Two or more years of experience in a cardiac or trauma care setting
• Relevant education and licensure in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult medical-surgical, cardiology, or critical care units
• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures, telemetry monitoring, or post-operative cardiac care

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Start date: 08/17/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
