Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) roles at a healthcare facility in Lewiston, Maine. This position involves providing specialized adult and geriatric patient care in a 20-bed unit that focuses on cardiac telemetry and medical intermediate care. The shift is overnight, with hours from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, offering a weekly guarantee of 36 hours.
Job Details
- Location: Lewiston, Maine
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong cardiac and adult intermediate care experience
- Flexibility to work in a float setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cardiac care and intermediate care units
Additional Information
- The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 for intermediate care and 1:5 for telemetry.
- Monitoring equipment includes Philips systems, and the electronic health record system utilized is Epic.
- The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as stable ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and post-cardiac procedures.

Pay Package
