This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, providing health teaching, counseling, and restorative therapies to support patient well-being. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications are required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred. Responsibilities: Perform delegated medical functions and nursing functions according to accepted standards. Evaluate health status through ongoing assessment of health data. Provide health education and counseling to patients. Monitor therapy and treatment plans, and refer patients for further evaluation as needed. Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Use available resources effectively. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Additional Information: Minimum of 1 year of experience with stroke patients preferred. The position begins on 11/02/2026 and ends on 01/30/2027.
