About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring patient responses
- Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during their recovery period
Requirements
- At least two years of proven experience as an RN
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in West Virginia
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with step-down care and post-operative care
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
