About the role

We’re seeking talented healthcare professionals for a travel nursing position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is at a large, Level I teaching hospital in southern Wisconsin with a Surgical Trauma RN need for an ASAP start. Positions are available in the ICU and related units/specialties. Shifts are 12-hour straight days, with scheduling details to be discussed during the interview. Several 13-week travel contracts are available, offering 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Care for IMC (Intermediate Care) and general care patient populations
• Work in a high-acuity environment with nurse/patient ratios in the 1:3 range, depending on the unit
• Demonstrate arrhythmia identification experience and pass a Telemetry competency upon arrival

Requirements

• 2 years of acute care experience
• Recent acute medical or surgical experience required
• If ICU experience, must be willing to care for IMC and general care patient populations
• ACLS certification required
• Preference for experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center
• Completion of at least one successful travel assignment

Pay

Estimated pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). Pay is subject to confirmation and may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance traveled, and customizations available for travelers. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice.
