Travel IMC Registered Nurse - $1,841 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a specialized unit focused on neurological and medical intermediate patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a teamwork approach and adhere to the behavioral expectations of Novant Health in all interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological and medical needs.
• Monitor and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry interpretation.
• Administer IV therapy, including insulin protocols and heart titration medications.
• Care for patients with craniotomies, CVA, and other neurological conditions.
• Manage ventilated patients and perform respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP management.
• Utilize Epic for charting and patient management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Neuro Stepdown or similar experience required.
• Current RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
