Travel IMC Registered Nurse - $1,755 per week

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience required; neuro experience preferred
• Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown & Telemetry
• Cardiovascular: TR Band
• Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols & Titration of Insulin drips
• Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management
• Genitourinary/Renal: Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) & Pre/Post hemodialysis Management
• IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs
• Medications: Heparin Protocols, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips & Titrate Vasoactive drips
• Neurological/Psychiatric: Aneurysms and repair, Craniotomy, CVA, Intracranial bleeds, Lumbar drains, Post TPA care, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal & Traumatic Brain injury
• Plastics: Surgical Drains
• Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks & Tracheostomy care/management
• Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE & Wound Care/Wound Vac
• EPIC experience required
• Absolutely must have ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications

Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience

• IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing/Managing Ports & Phlebotomy
• Additional Skills: Triage, ICP, Conscious Sedation, and Charge Nurse Experience
• Absolutely must have CCRN, TNCC, and CPI certifications

Other Requirements

• Must have a teamwork approach and meet Novant behavioral expectations
• Must adhere to strongly enforced call-off policy
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start
• Employment contingent on remote module completion (~8-10 hours for Acute Care)
• NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal

Patient Care and Scheduling Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:4 (average)
• Float within/near the facility per the job description
• Minimum of 3 weekend shifts every six weeks
• Orientation: 32 hours including a computer class and shifts on the unit
