About the role
Provide comprehensive critical care in a high-acuity ICU environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Operate life-support equipment and administer advanced treatments
- Document patient data accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain proficiency through ongoing training
Key Duties
- Monitor patient conditions continuously
- Operate advanced medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatments
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document all interventions and patient responses
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Follow clinical and regulatory standards
- Provide education to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS
