About the role
The Travel ICU RN provides comprehensive critical care for patients in the intensive care unit, assessing and monitoring critically ill individuals, operating advanced life-support equipment, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring and interpret data
- Document interventions and patient responses
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN certification
- TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
