Travel ICU RN

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients by assessing, monitoring, and operating life-support equipment.
• Administer advanced treatments and manage complex medications.
• Interpret hemodynamic monitoring and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain proficiency in critical care practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Operate life-support devices and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and professional ethics.

Requirements

• At least one year of recent ICU experience.
• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC, and NIHSS.
