About the role
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, monitoring, and responding to changes in critically ill patients
- Administering advanced medications and treatments
- Operating and managing life-support and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and emotional support
- Documenting assessments and interventions accurately
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Providing patient and family education about treatments and recovery
- Adhering to infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- One year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in clinical procedures, documentation, and technology
- Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activity schedules
