About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Odessa, Texas. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026.

Job Details

  • Shift: 12 HR Nights
  • Total Weekly Hours: 48
  • Trauma Level: Facility Specific
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, TCAR

Requirements

  • ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH certifications
  • 6 hours total of Stroke education (can be provided if needed)
  • EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)
  • 2 years of experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Charting system experience: Cerner (preferred)
  • Community hospital experience: Preferred
  • Trauma Level II experience: Preferred
  • Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred
  • Flu Vaccine: Required, with exemptions allowed
  • Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
  • Local Radius: 50 miles (not accepted for locals)

  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
  • Neuro Intensive Care Unit
  • Phlebotomy
  • PICC line management
  • Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR)
  • Post Craniotomy
  • Post Neurosurgery management
  • Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention
  • Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
  • Sheath Removal
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Starting and maintaining IVs
  • Suctioning (ETT, NT)
  • Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Titrate Cardiac drips
  • Titrate Vasoactive drips
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
