Travel ICU RN - $2,254 per week

About the role

Travel ICU RN position in Silverdale, Washington. 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. Immediate opening for nurses with 1–2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Provide direct care to patients in life-threatening situations
• Document and provide physician-directed care
• Assess and implement patient care plans
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate
• Provide education and support to patient families, including long-term care needs
• Provide basic bedside care
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Collect samples for lab work, order corresponding labs, and interpret reports
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing
• Communicate patients' conditions to family members
