ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Schedule & Duration

• 13-week contract position
• 12 hour Days, weekends and holidays as scheduled
• 36 hours per week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients with complex needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, showcasing the ability to handle life-threatening conditions and participate in aggressive treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for critically ill patients in a 18-bed ICU setting
• Monitor hemodynamics and titrate critical drips, including Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans for patients
• Utilize advanced technologies and equipment, including mechanical ventilation and telemetry
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and expectations
• Participate in patient rounds and report to the Hospitalist and charge nurse as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS certification required
• Two years of critical care experience
• Preferences for CRRT and IABP, Impella experience
• Travel experience required; must be able to float to Stepdown or Med-Surg as necessary
• PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications preferred
