36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), including weekends as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Titrate drips as necessary, including but not limited to propofol, cardizem, insulin, and levo.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans.
- Support patients and families through education and emotional support.
- Participate in unit-based activities to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Current RN license valid for the state.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Previous ICU experience is essential.
- Ability to monitor and interpret telemetry strips.
