Travel ICU RN - $2,136 per week

About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) assignment in Yakima, Washington. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, working 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage chest tubes and wound vacs, perform dressing changes.
• Monitor femoral arterial sheaths; assist with arterial line placement.
• Provide care for patients with CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, atrial‑fib with RVR, diabetes, CVA, post‑catheterization, and various surgical cases (vascular, abdominal, GI).
• Administer blood products, BiPAP, and medication drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitroglycerin, and heparin.
• Preferred experience with arterial lines, Impella, and/or IABP devices.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact accepted); copy required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; copies required.
• Social Security Number and date of birth required for credentialing.
• One professional reference dated within the past 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment.

Pay

Rate: $2,072.00 – $2,200.00 (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week assignment.
