Travel ICU RN - $2,096 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit position in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with diagnoses such as Sepsis, PNA, COVID, CHF, COPD, DKA, OD, Renal Failure, Neurosurgeries, MI, and Vascular patients.
• Titrate and monitor titratable drips within ordered parameters.
• Perform care and removal of Central lines and other invasive procedures.
• Monitor and interpret ICU patient vitals, read strips, and admit to Phillips monitoring system.
• Collaborate with ICU team including RTs, Tele Techs, and physicians to deliver optimal patient care.
• Cover charge nurse and house supervisor shifts as needed, including nights and weekends.
• Float to Stepdown and MedSurg units as required.

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Competency with CRRT, IABP, Vents, post-code/therapeutic hypothermia.
• Skilled with all vasoactive medications, sedation, and paralytics.
• Ability to titrate drips and perform care/removal of Central lines.

Pay

Pay range: $2,218.36 - $2,329.28 per week.

Schedule

07:00 - 19:30 (Rotating), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
