Travel ICU RN - $2,096 per week

About the role

Travel RN-ICU assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota, starting 09/28/2026 for 14 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. You will work in a facility with a collaborative culture and advanced technology, delivering critical care to ICU patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Operate life‑support equipment
• Document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid South Dakota RN license or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent ICU experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Permanent address over 250 miles from Rapid City, SD
• Reference dated within the past 12 months for work within the last 5 years
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Cardiac ICU experience
• Familiarity with Impella, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Preference for 48‑hour contracts (as indicated by the ICU unit)

Pay

Pay rate: $2,04
